Hi, my name is Chris (and this is my son Andrew).  I began painting in 2009 and now it is a significant part of my life and I consider it a privilege to be able to make art that people enjoy.  I think painting can be made to seem difficult, but with a few rules to keep in mind, and a few practice paintings out of the way, anyone can do it.  I never had a formal art class. I learned by trial and error, by watching instructional videos by David Dunlop, Quang Ho, and of course, Bob Ross! Part of what drives me is that I am never fully satisfied with any painting I always find something I wish to improve upon.  Kind words from happy customers are also appreciated.

First Friday Art Walks

Come visit us at Grace Gallery on 9th and Santa Fe, open Tues-Sat Noon-5pm

Throughout the year, on the First Friday of each month, several galleries on Santa Fe between stay open late for the First Friday art walk.
